My town is Corvallis, Oregon.
This is a flicker taking off from a snowy branch. I haven't mastered panning, and must admit that this shot was a surprise to me. You can see which branch he was on because the snow is falling off of it!

frankly I did not become a fan of panning. your shot is lovely. And yes shots of birds that come out good are always a surprise and a joy for me....
ReplyDeleteAh...beautiful shot, pan or no pan. I think it works better just the way it is and is a great capture. I love the color against the white background.
